The Evening Revival and Evangelistic Service started at 5.30 pm with an organ prelude and the orchestra playing a piece. The Choir then rendered “I’ve Got That Old Time Religion” followed by  “He looked Beyond My  Fault”  as a solo.

The leading minister led the congregation to sing “Just the Same Today”, ” Praise the King of Glory” and “Just as God Who Reigns on High”.

The Ghana Overseer during the announcement declared that it will be a night of blessing and reminded all who receive to go and record at the information center. He also announced the upcoming Music Concert by the Choir coming Saturday 31-08-19 at 4:30pm.

The Northern Zone were privileged to give testimonies for the night followed by a duet special song “Jesus is Passing this Way”.

The sermon for the night was rendered by Sis. Jane Akazue with Scripture reading from Exodus 15: 11.

In summary of her short message to all, she made everyone present know that Jesus is passing today and he’s here to bless us and also that He’s going to give each and everyone a testimony. We are encouraged that the God of wonders is here tonight and whosoever cries onto him will be delivered. The devil knows when our miracle is at hand and he’ll fight us but our God is able to deliver us.

She mentioned that the great God of wonders is in our midst and will deliver us like he delivered the children of Israel from Egypt. She made reference to Exodus 14:13 which says “Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever”.

Sis. Akazue further said God will deliver us from sin and give us the power to do exploits with a testimony she share of a woman who is 50 years and gave birth this year and also a woman who had no womb but God helped her to deliver. Also of an armed robber who is now a great pastor.

God is promising and assuring us that when we see the red sea and mountains around us, He wants us to know He’s the God of wonders and with him all things are possible. “The Lord shall fight for you and ye shall hold you peace”- (Exodus 14:14).

She ended the sermon by letting all know that, today whatever red sea is in our life and whatever trouble we have we will never see it again if only we will come to God in prayer and trust him for his deliverance.
