The youth of the church on the camp-ground gathered around 2.30pm for the youth service. After the organ prelude the choir rendered “When the Battle is Over” followed by a few congregational songs.
The testimony service was reserved for the young ones who have received blessings during this camp period.
The Preacher Bro. Richard Essuman based on Zachariah 3: 1-5 to exhort the congregation. His focus was on the people who might have receive one blessing or the other that might have given up for one reason or the other. It may be that you have received one or two of the graces and still looking out for the other but the devil keeps getting closer and convincing you that it’s impossible and pushing you to give up.
He emphasized that we all have to know that God is rebuking the devil that who is whispering into our ears trying to lure us astray. We must know that the devil cannot stop us, especially when we stand firm and choose God, He has the power to change situations around and he will give us us testimonies. When we receive Gods’ blessings he will not only change our garment, but he will also make our lives beautiful.
People rushed to the altars to pray as the service closed with “Trust on, Trust On, Believer”
